Comments: I visited Cres years ago quite by chance. It's still one of the most wonderful memories I have of any of my European travels. The warm clear water and the laid back atmosphere made for a truly fabulous experience. I'd love to go back.

Comments: We visited the island of Cres for the first time in May this year and stayed at the Pansion Tramontana in the beautiful little village of Beli. It was so lovely that we came back for two weeks in August and stayed there again. In fact, we loved the island so much that we ended up buying a beautiful house in Cres, where we will be spending lots of holidays over the next few years before we retire there eventually. It is a very special island and this website has been really helpful for us so thank you for it.
